NIGP's Nominating Committee Announces Slate Of Candidates For 2007-09 NIGP Board Seats |
The NIGP Nominating Committee, responsible for developing the slate of candidates offered to the membership for election, reviewed all applications based on the following criteria:
• contributions to the Institute, Chapters, and the profession
• size and type of governmental unit
• level of education and experience
• level of current professional certification
• demonstrated public speaking and leadership skills, and diversity
After significant deliberation and in the spirit of promoting the value of a member-based association, the Nominating Committee decided to offer a slate of two candidates per region where new Board applications were received.
